Friends of Davey and Goliath Gathering - Pennsylvania
A Friends of Davey and Goliath fundraiser took place on October 12, 2003 at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. The fundraiser event included a screening of the documentary, "Oh Davey! History of the 'Davey and Goliath' Television Series."  The screening in Allentown, Pennsylvania was held in the new, state of the art lecture hall in Moyer Hall at Muhlenberg College. The 25 people who gathered enjoyed the program. Thanks to Chaplain Peter Bredlau of Muhlenberg and Carol Weiser of the NE PA Synod for their support of this event. We were ably assisted by DHES' Sue Edison-Swift and the Foundation's Greg Kramer. Read more about the documentary. View a preview of the documentary now. (RealOne Player required.)

Sunday worship was held at 1 p.m. at Muhlenberg College's Egner Memorial Chapel; the premier began at 4 p.m.

Caleb, who knows his "classic" Davey episodes, checked out ordering a VHS tape at Augsburg Fortress.

Christopher & Janet Hooker-Haring, Muhlenberg College graduates. Chris is Dean of Admissions at Muhlenberg.

Popcorn, chips, and pretzels were the documentary fare served up by our Muhlenberg hosts.

The Rev. Peter Bredlau, campus pastor and church relations director at Muhlenberg, and Megan Glick, a sophomore religion major at Muhlenberg, found themselves laughing out loud as they viewed the documentary.
